This weekend Askernish Golf Club hosted the Outer Hebrides Pairs Championship, which included golfers from as far afield as North America and Australia. In only its second year the competition entries have doubled, making the event a firm fixture in the golfing calendar.

On Saturday the weather could not have been better for scoring round the weather-beaten links laid out by Old Tom Morris all those years ago. Sunday proved to be more testing with the wind picking up but there was still some low scoring. Congratulations to all who made the trip to play our course we very much hope you enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you next year.
